I had the chicken tika masala , chicken biryani, and some chicken leg quarters? the leg quarters is because they didnt have chicken wings. the leg quarters was my biggest concern cause they were dry. the tika masala and biryani had lil to no flavor? I've eaten at other indian restaurants and this was kinda bad? i can say it was good portions and it was fresh though

Very fresh food. Almost too fresh in a way, at least for Americans. Could tell rice was cooked in a proper method. The veggies were crisp, and the naan, all fresh. However very little flavor to it with its freshness. Either no salt at all in the cooking, or no seasoning soaked into anything. The naan was fresh from a fire oven and unfortunately was a bit burnt from it, but top marks for traditional cooking. The down notes was service, waited a long time before seating, the place was silent, had some music when I first got there but they turned it off once they saw me. And finally the price. For same amount I pay in Laramie for enough food and naan for 2 people, I got a solid serving here, and barely enough naan to eat with.

The food here speaks for itself, it's one of the best in Arlington, this place doesn't have all the luxury things and fine dining experience but I would recommend you to just go for the food and you will not be disappointed.The owner of the place is very polite and humble. The portion size is more than enough for two people.

Don’t get fulled by location or appearance of building - this place is a hidden gem! I came here craving chicken biryani and wasn’t disappointed. Portion was huge ( even for take out) and was surprised to find free samosa in my bag. Food was good and I’m glad I chose spicy, it has very nice kick. Owner are very nice and sweet people.

Stop the press! I’ve been on the hunt for home cooked Indian food that doesn’t cost and arm and a leg and as an Indian myself I keep myself why is every Indian restaurant so expensive? It doesn’t cost a lot to make this food, I make it myself all the time. I found a hole in the wall restaurant via google and its reviews called Biriyani House. I saw the menu prices on google and just had to see it for myself. They’re the same. $1.69 for a samosa the size of your hand (that’s how they make it in India, btw!), $6.99 for a huge to go chicken biriyani and $13 for a veggie curry. They gave me a free samosa while I waited for my order to be cooked and they had it done fairly quickly. I couldn’t wait to go home and try it and let me tell you, it’s the best authentic Indian food I’ve ever had! Not too spicy and so flavorful like how my mom makes it. I took some pics to refer to how much they gave me, I’ve already had over 5 servings and I still have about 2-3 servings left over! This is the place y’all. It’s also a super sweet older couple who cooks the food by themselves, no hires so the flavor is coming straight from a cultural tradition. If anyone has had biriyani house please let me
